Welcome Traveler!

Hi! I’m Dani! Your Guide to Unforgettable Solo Female Travel Adventures
Hey there! I’m Dani, a travel blogger, foodie, cultural explorer, and your go-to guide for navigating the exciting and sometimes daunting world of solo female travel.
If you’re here, you’re probably a bit like me, a Millennial woman ready to break free from the 9 to 5 grind, craving adventure but unsure where to start. You’ve come to the right place.
My blog is more than just a collection of travel stories. It’s a roadmap designed to help you take that leap, explore the world, and find joy in every new experience, whether that’s wandering through a night market in Bangkok or booking a solo trip to Seoul just because you felt like it.

Why You Should Join Me
f you’re tired of the daily grind and waiting for the “right time” or the “right travel buddy,” I get it. I’ve been there, wondering if I should keep waiting or just go alone.
Since 2015, I’ve explored over 20 countries solo. What started as one brave decision turned into a lifestyle.
Spoiler alert. I went alone. And it changed everything.
I lived in Tokyo, navigating life in Japan and deepening my love for food, culture, and slow exploration. Now I live in Seoul, fully immersed in one of the most dynamic, beauty-forward, food-obsessed cities in the world.
Living abroad reshaped how I travel. I do not just pass through places anymore. I experience them deeply. And I help you do the same.
As a travel agent and co-owner of Dear Atlas Travel, I use my firsthand experiences to help other women design trips that feel intentional, immersive, and unforgettable.

My Solo Female Travel Philosophy: Food, Culture, and Self-Care
So what fuels my wanderlust?
Three things: food, culture, and self-care.
I’m a self-proclaimed foodie, far more interested in savoring spicy street noodles in Bangkok or a perfectly layered bowl of bibimbap in Seoul than sticking to familiar comfort foods.
Every destination is a culinary story waiting to be tasted.
But it is not just about what’s on the plate.
I am deeply curious about how people live, work, celebrate, and rest. Living in Tokyo taught me the beauty of ritual and detail. Living in Seoul showed me how culture and self-expression evolve in real time.
Whether it is learning the art of tea ceremony in Kyoto or spending an afternoon in a Korean head spa, I seek experiences that connect me to the daily rhythms of a place.
And then there is self-care.
In a world that glorifies burnout, I believe self-care is non-negotiable, especially when traveling solo.
That might look like:
• A spa day in Seoul
• A quiet café break in Paris
• A sunset walk alone in Lisbon

My Experience and Expertise: What I Offer You
I have been solo traveling since 2015, with over 20 countries explored independently and more than 40 countries visited overall.
Living in six different U.S. states shaped me. Living abroad in Tokyo and now Seoul transformed me.
Because I started solo traveling as a young woman, I know exactly what that first solo flight feels like. The nerves at immigration. The thrill of checking into a hotel alone. The quiet pride of navigating a new city by yourself.
I share practical advice rooted in lived experience. From crafting itineraries that avoid tourist traps to finding authentic local eateries, I focus on meaningful travel.
As co-owner of Dear Atlas Travel, I also help design boutique travel experiences that go beyond the expected. Think private cooking classes in Tuscany or immersive cultural rituals in Japan.
Trust matters to me. Every recommendation I share is based on personal experience or thorough research. I believe in transparency, honesty, and helping women travel confidently and independently.
Fun Facts: A Peek Behind the Scenes

– Swiftie for Life: Catching Taylor Swift in concert is a non-negotiable. I’ve been a fan since the beginning—yes, I’m an OG Swiftie!
– Culinary Crusader: My kitchen is my playground, where I recreate the flavors I’ve discovered around the world. From spicy Thai curries to delicate Japanese ramen, I’m always experimenting (and sometimes failing) to bring those tastes home.
– K-Drama Devotee: I’m hooked on the captivating storylines and heart-fluttering romances of K-Dramas.
– Shutterbug in Training: While I may not be Ansel Adams, I’m constantly snapping photos to capture the beauty of my travels. Maybe one day my pictures will do justice to that breathtaking Santorini sunset!
– Broadway Buff: I’m a huge fan of all things Broadway and musicals. Currently crushing on “Six” and “Sweeney Todd”—who’s with me?
